We are a collective of record labels and artists that reside under the Inner Shift Music label name. Included are other labels such as Common Dreams Music, Depth Sequence, and 117 Music group: https://innershiftmusic.com.
Media including digital music files
Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images to paid for downloads on the website. Of course we want you to play our music for yourself and in dj mixes. But if you’re getting paid on a commercial level, please pay us. If you’re using it to help us, or promote us and it’s within a tasteful context where little or no money is being made, we welcome that. All of that is of course subjective so here here is the legal stance regarding our music rights: Examples where you can use our music include on your own personal systems & devices, sharing over a PA at a non-commercial perfomance venue which doesn’t report to a royalty service, or to share in the context of an independant music mix which is not made for commercial or monetary purposes. When you purchase our music you also agree that if you use our downloaded music to play in a commercial or monetised setting such as a music or mix complilation which is sold and or has monetary value due to advertising or click rates, broadcast settings such as FM or AM radio, streaming services, stock music, aggregate services, distribution services, television, films, large venues that report to a royalty society, and music videos for monetary or commercial purposes, you will ask for our consent or you will report the music to your national royalty society if the context requires. We make exclusions for online videos made by content hosts that support our music out of goodwill, which mainly feature our label designs and artwork along with our music, and are clearly not used to build the host reputation by aggregating large amounts of unrelated content which can include music that strays away from underground non-commercial electronic, jazz influenced, eclectic, or obscure genres. We also make exclusions for social media website streamed videos where our music is either part of a mix with other music or a short clip in a promotional context. Otherwise, you must notify us for our consent or notify your country’s national royalty collection service if the context requires. Unauthorized sharing, selling or distributing of our downloaded music without our consent is not allowed. We do not allow the social media sharing of entire files or songs as downloads or streams which run the full length, or near the full length of a song within reasonable limits.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. You can clear the cache in your browser to remove the cookies at any time.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

– YSC: Registers a unique ID to keep statistics of what videos from YouTube the user has seen. They ensure that requests within a browsing session are made by the user, and not by other sites. These cookies help prevent malicious sites from acting on behalf of a user without that user’s knowledge.
– VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE: For YouTube used to detect and resolve problems with the service.
– yt-remote-device-id: stores the video preferences of the user using embedded YouTube video.
– yt-remote-connected-devices: YouTube sets this cookie to store the video preferences of the user using embedded YouTube video.
Bandcamp:
– client_id: Registers statistical data on users’ behaviour on the website. Can be used for internal analytics by the website operator.
Hearthis.at:
– cf_clearance: can be left by hearthis.at, this is from their server cloudflare to detect captcha or challenge
We use the following other embeds, processors or statistic generators:
PayPal – for checkout processing which does leave functional and/or marketing cookies.
– ts_c: to provide fraud prevention.
– l7_az: for the PayPal login-function on the website.
– ts: enables secure transactions through PayPal.
– x-pp-s: process payments on the site.
– nsid: runs surveys safely that spreads over several pages.
– tsrce: enables the PayPal payment service in the website.

We use Google Analytics to collect web statistics information and GA leaves the following cookies
_gat, _gtag_UA_: cookie used to limit amount of user requests in order to maintain a website’s threshold. Set by Google to distinguish users.
_ga, _gid: enables the service to distinguish one visitor from another. This does not reveal personal details. With extensive configuration and filtering, there is speculation it could reveal a users ip.
About your data
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email which will only come to us.
As with any website, your personal data must be input into our website to process your order and that is unavoidable. Otherwise you are free to make an account and also subscribe to our emails and we hope you will. We will not send you marketing emails unless you subscribe to our mailing list directly. If you make an account or place an order without subscribing to our mailing list, you will only receive emails regarding your order or account. All passwords are automatically encrypted by our system and nobody can see them, including us. We don’t knowingly give away or sell your data to anyone. We try to protect the website security within the best of our abilities but will not assume responsiblity in the case that the website is hacked and your personal data is stolen. However, we hope you are encouraged by the fact that we only use off site card processing companies such as PayPal, which means we don’t hold on to any card data. We also have the most standard security checks in place and keep the website ugraded regulalry.
Removing Your Data
If you would like to remove yourself from our database for any reason, please contact us at connect @ innershiftmusic.com (delete the spaces). Your completed, cancelled, pending or failed order info may need to remain in our database for a limited amount of time which is usually no more than 3 years or until a claim is fully resolved, for legal purposes. All other data, such as account, subscription or preferences data can be removed immediately upon request. We have an auto data remover set up for these purposes.
You can message us to have a comment removed at any time unless it is necessary to keep in our website for possible investigations into online abuse, tracking spam, or any other possible legal scenario if we see fit. Likewise, we have the right to remove or un-approve comments that we feel are negative, un-necessary, or unhelpful, or possily relating to illegal ideas.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. As mentioned above, web administrators cannot see passwords. Passwords can be reset by administrators but it is the duty of the account holder to update the password as they see fit.
More about leaving comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. You can message us to have a comment removed at any time unless it is necessary to keep in our website for possible investigations into online abuse, tracking spam, or any other possible legal scenario if we see fit. We have the right to remove comments that we feel are negative, un-necessary, or unhelpful. We encourage you to say something neutral or nice, otherwise don’t say anything at all as it’s a waste of time for yourself, us and the world in general.

For example, comments such as “My record was 3 months late and we had a large customs fee in my country” would be an acceptable negative comment. However, “These guys are idiots!” would be unacceptable based on our personal guidelines to not approve and remove comments which are “unhelpful subjective opinions that are not useful, can’t be measured and can’t be proven without wasting time that could be spent doing something more concrete or constructive”.
What can we do with your comments outside of our website
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service if necessary. Comments and data displayed around comments could be unknowingly shared, screenshot or posted on other entities social media pages, blogs, websites or forums without our permission or authorisation. In this case we are not liable for any libel or personal damages which might occur such as defamation, monetary penalties, lawsuits, illegal acts or similar. Legitimate comments can be used in external editorial pieces such as other blogs, online reviews, and promotional material for the label after specific permission is asked by us to and agreed upon by the commentor, however these comments may also be shared without our consent onto other social media pages, blogs, websites or forums, or media outlets.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. As mentioned above You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
